Discover five innovative practices identified by the American Academy of Pediatrics National Coordinating Center for Epilepsy that are transforming care for children and youth with epilepsy (CYE) and related chronic conditions. In June 2024, the National Coordinating Center for Epilepsy hosted a symposium titled, "Empowering Connections: A Virtual Symposium for Enhancing Care for Children and Youth with Epilepsy". This virtual symposium provided Transforming Health Care for Children and Youth with Epilepsy (CYE) grantees with a platform to share lessons learned, best practices, and innovative strategies implemented within their projects. Panel discussions and presentations delved into these insights, highlighting their broader application to Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN).

Seven organizations serving children and youth with epilepsy that participated in a multi-year, federally funded learning collaborative have a new set of resources to help them sustain their programs.
