PsychArmor Institute offers free, self-paced courses for behavioral health care providers working with active military and veterans.

The Center for Deployment Psychology trains military and civilian behavioral health professionals to provide high-quality, culturally-sensitive, evidence-based behavioral health services to military personnel, Veterans and their families. CDP offers live and web-based trainings.

The Training Institute at Home Base increases awareness and access for Post-9/11 Veterans and Military Families to high quality care through education. Trainings provide healthcare professionals, first responders, military families and community member access to free on-demand courses on topics such as military culture, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, complicated grief and supporting suicide survivors.

In large organizations, such as state and federal government agencies, there may be career development resources and opportunities for selected employees who demonstrate leadership potential.

Specialty Practice Sections offer the opportunity for professional development through live practice-specific teleconferences, newsletters, continuing education credits and more. This SPS is for social workers in the healthcare profession who address the psychosocial components of health and mental health.
