LA25PDW42:  Family Estrangement: Can We Do Better.  This virtual workshop will address family estrangement that has become so prevalent in our culture. This phenomenon is often reinforced or even introduced by premature assessment and misdiagnosis. There is frequently inadequate treatment planning. Therapists have a large responsibility during critical times in family crisis and inaccurate assessment and recommendations or guidance can facilitate a destructive family fracture. This workshop seeks to offer more clear assessment techniques and options. Presented by:  Gina Rossi, LCSW-BACS, MHSA.  Member $25 /  Nonmember $45.  1.50 ClinicalCEU. Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing and received  three days prior to the workshop.  An administrative fee of $15 will be deducted from the reimbursement.



Presenter Bio

Gina Rossi, has 30+ years of experience in the Baton Rouge community. She is a frequent workshop presenter on topics  on ethics, caregiving, aging, and ageism. Her private practice includes individuals and families in transition often facing estrangement. Gina is the 2023 NASW-LA Social Worker of the Year.
