American Cancer Society Event Aims to Advance Patient Navigation

NASW Senior Practice Associate Carrie Dorn attended the 2024 American Cancer Society National Navigation Roundtable (NNRT) Annual Meeting. More than 100 collaborating organizations—spanning medical, advocacy, government, and corporate sectors— attended the event, where attendees continue to work together toward a shared goal of advancing patient navigation. Held in Washington, D.C., national experts, advocates and thought leaders remain united by a common commitment to ACS NNRT’s 5-year AIM (2021-2026): creating a sustainable oncology patient navigation model to achieve health equity across the cancer continuum.
