Deadline for Proposed Changes to NASW Bylaws is Sept. 1

In Brief

NASW members can propose changes to the NASW Bylaws by submitting amendments for consideration to the NASW board of directors by Sept. 1. Proposed amendments may be submitted by individual members in good standing, NASW chapter executive directors and chapter boards, NASW national board members, and NASW committees and task forces.

Proposed amendments related to Delegate Assembly and NASW national/chapter dues allocation will follow the Delegate Assembly process and also should be submitted by Sept. 1. All other bylaws amendments are within the authority of the NASW board of directors.

Visit the NASW Bylaws page for more information, and to submit a proposal.
