NASW invites all social work students and recent graduates to our free student-focused events to prepare for your early career, enhance your skills, and connect you with colleagues from across the country.

Clients with eating disorders can confound even the most seasoned clinicians. Between navigating medical complications and co-occurring disorders, treating the whole person can feel both confusing and overwhelming. This day long workshop untangles that confusion and provides a path through treating complex clients with eating disorders. 

In this interactive forum, participants will have the opportunity to learn about and explore the concepts and practices of nature connected wellness and its impact on health, well-being, and resiliency. Around the world, a rapidly growing body of research is demonstrating that deepening connections with the natural world is therapeutic and restorative for people of all ages, not only by reducing stress, but also at boosting general well-being.
