This workshop will focus on best practices for clinicians working with children whose parents are experiencing a contentious divorce. There will be an overview of the court process and your role, do's and don'ts in your preparation and presentation in court, and a discussion of the collaborative process between the clinician and the attorney.

Participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the collaborative process between the clinician and the attorney
  • Describe best practices in the court preparation process and presentation to best serve your client
  • Describe the court process and how it might affect the clinical relationship with your client
