Complex Ethical Challenges in Clinical Social Work | NASW New Jersey

This webinar will provide in-depth examination of compelling and complex ethical challenges in clinical social work. Dr. Frederic Reamer will present a series of case vignettes and apply state-of-the-art decision-making protocols. Key topics will include exceptions to clients' confidentiality rights; informed consent exceptions; ethical use of technology and online tools; management of conflicts of interest; ethical challenges when working with clients’ collaterals; balancing client self-determination rights and professional paternalism; managing complex termination-of-services decisions; and difficult documentation decisions, among others.
