The Future of Reproductive Rights in Wisconsin

On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade decision guaranteeing the right to abortion. Immediately, a criminal abortion ban from 1849 went into effect in Wisconsin, eliminating abortion access in the state. Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin continues to help patients access safe and legal abortion care in states where abortion care remains legal. In addition, preventative reproductive health care services continue to be an important need -- perhaps now more than ever -- in communities across the state.

Learn what you can do to connect the individuals with whom you work to the reproductive health care they need as well as how to advocate for access to this care in your community.
