Annual State Virtual Conference: Social Workers Essential and Prepared

NASW Georgia

We anticipate welcoming an audience of about three hundred composed of professional social workers, social work students, faculty and other mental health professionals. Our goal is to build awareness around the Social Work profession and those they serve.

This year’s conference theme is "Social Workers—Essential and Prepared," which sheds light on the fact that Social Workers are essential to community well-being. As practitioners, social workers are trained to help people address personal and systemic barriers to optimal living. They are employed to effect positive change with individuals, families, groups and entire communities.

The conference offers 20 CE's of which 5 CE's are Ethics. If the Pre-Conference is attended as well, there will be a total of 26.5 hours.
