Joshua Brewster, MSW, MHA

Josh Brewster, MSW, MHA, is a licensed clinical social worker and experienced social work leader with over 20 years of expertise across diverse settings. He is licensed in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota and holds advanced certifications as a Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager (C-ASWCM) through NASW, a Certified Case Manager (CCMC), and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Josh earned master’s degrees in Social Work and Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine. He has recently returned to clinical practice, working with individuals and couples, after a long career leading large, multistate teams of healthcare social workers in community hospitals and academic medical centers. His prior roles include teaching at the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota and overseeing the administrative functions of a large department within the VA.
