The 2016 Intersections in Practice is now available to download.  The Intersections in Practice theme is "The role of social workers in promoting and advocating for social change." Social workers consistently served as the change agents for those in need of help within different types of communities. This edition of the InterSections in Practice, annual bulletin is comprised of articles addressing the role of social workers in promoting and advocating for social change. It will also look at new trends and  emerging social work ideas that can lead to positive and healthy changes in our society.  

Once you have read the this Intersections in Practice, you can take the online post-test and earn 2 Social Work Contact hours of CEs when you pass with 80 percent accuracy.

To read the 2016 Specialty Practice Sections Intersections in Practice: "The role of social workers in promoting and advocating for social change" :

1.     Log in at www.NASWProEd.org with the same username and password that you use for other  NASW websites.

2.      Select the Catalog tab and type in "Intersections" in the search bar

3.      Start course

4.      Read the pdf of the publication

5.     Items with the red asterik (*) must be completed:  

        (Click the tab that says "Required Content, Complete Exam, Complete Evaluation) and then click "I Agree" button.)

6.     Click the Certificates tab to print your certificate.
