Description

As a member of the Leadership Council of Aging Organizations (LCAO), NASW helped develop these advocacy principles for care of older adults and families affected by serious or life-limiting illness.

NASW and other members of the National Consensus Project for Quality Palliative Care revised the Clinical Practice Guidelines for Quality Palliative Care.

The brochure, developed in collaboration with NASW, is part of the Joint Commission’s Speak Up™ initiative, which encourages consumers to play an active role in their health care.
