Social Work and Primary Care: A Natural Collaboration Wednesday, May 23, 2012 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM ET Credit Hours: 1.5 CEU(s)This webinar will examine the increasingly important role of social work in integrated primary health care settings. Integrated primary care - a model of health care delivery in which medical and behavioral health care are provided in the same setting – offers the promise of lower cost and better health outcomes. Issues to be addressed include: the basics of integrated primary care, the role of social work within the interdisciplinary primary care team, reimbursement challenges, and new social work opportunities in integrated primary health care settings, created through the Affordable Care Act.
