Reminder to Credentialed and Licensed Social Workers
Unless your state has endorsed the NASW CE Approval Program, there is no guarantee that you will receive credit for the workshops and conferences listed. NASW has endorsement of 41 state licensure boards. However, it is your responsibility to contact your credentialing or licensing boards directly to verify whether the NASW CE Approval programs listed below will be accepted for meeting the conditions of credential or licensure renewal. Be sure to obtain current information because the number of hours and types of programs approved by credentialing and licensing bodies changes from time to time.

NASW Specialty Certification Holders

The courses listed by the Continuing Education program will help members who currently hold one of the specialty certifications satisfy their renewal of continuing education requirements. The specialty certifications – (C-ACYFSW) , (C-CYFSW) , (C-SWHC) , (C-CATODSW) , (C-ASWCM) , (C-SWCM) , and (C-SSWS) require 20 contact hours of continuing education every two years. The courses are listed by state and each title identifies the specialty certification that the course fulfills for the two- year renewal requirement.
